The Canjito is a jeep style vehicle is loosely based on the original design of an American MUTT, plus incorporating ideas from the Citroen Mehari, but everything is mounted on an UNMODIFIED 2CV floor pan.

Our kit comprises pre-coloured fibreglass body tub, front section and bonnet, a metal windscreen surround (unpainted) glass and rubber plus insert, roll bar and all internal metal framework (unpainted). In addition to this it has a full length hood with roll up doors and rear window giving you a vehicle which, when the side are rolled up,  gives you all the open air feeling but keeping the sun off your head.

To build this vehicle you will need a standard 2CV or Dyane plus lights seats windscreen wipers and motors wiring loom front grill wing mirrors, hinges and bonnet catch, from donor vehicle or aftermarket accessory people, we offer bumpers, bull bars, and chequer plate plus big wheels and tyres as extras which are not readily available.

This is a very simple body swap that can be achieved with limited mechanical knowledge plus basic common sense. Alternatively, it can also be built by any one of our recommended builders.
